Reading Response Prompts
Reading Responses are optional.
Directions: First, decide if your book is fiction (not true) or nonfiction (true). Then look at the prompts under that heading. You need to chose one of the prompts to respond to. Your response needs to be at least 5 sentences. It should be a complete paragraph (topic sentence, 3 details, and a concluding sentence). Make sure you completely answer the question, and be sure to check your spelling, grammar and punctuation. The response needs to be submitted in by Thursday morning before class.
Fiction Prompts:
Prompt 1: Write a paragraph (at least 5 sentences) explaining what was problem and the solution.
Nonfiction Prompts:
Prompt 2 : If your book was nonfiction, write (at least 5 sentences) about what you learned.
